Founded in 2001, Design Architects is a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering consultancy firm in India, driven by a clear vision: to deliver comprehensive Architectural & Engineering services that serve society while embracing the needs of the 21st century. The firm values India’s rich cultural heritage and integrates it thoughtfully with contemporary architecture, sustainable design, urban planning, interiors, healthcare planning, and environmental design.

Led by a talented and collaborative design team, Design Architects offers a wide spectrum of consultancy services for diverse public and private sector projects. The firm has successfully designed and developed over 100 projects, covering more than five crore square feet of built area across healthcare, institutional, commercial, residential, public utility, heritage, religious, and urban design projects. Its portfolio includes major projects contributing to a cumulative project portfolio exceeding ₹12,500 crore. In 2001, Ritu Singh embarked on her entrepreneurial journey and established DESIGN ARCHITECTS, marking the beginning of a remarkable career. Her talent and dedication were quickly recognized when she secured her first project with the prestigious Asian Development Bank.

Ritu Singh’s expertise in earthquake-resistant design and construction was honed through rigorous training under the Programme on Earthquake Resistant Design & Construction, coordinated by the Disaster Management & Relief Department of the Government of Rajasthan and sponsored by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Further expanding her knowledge and skills, she successfully completed the esteemed “The Architectural imagination” Course offered by Harvard University, earning a valuable certificate.

Ritu Singh’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the core sectors’ infrastructural facilities has garnered recognition from the Government of Rajasthan. In appreciation of her visionary approach, she was appointed as a nominee member of the State in the Council of Architecture, Government of India. This prestigious appointment is a testament to her expertise and the trust placed in her abilities to contribute to the advancement of architecture on a broader scale. Ritu Singh’s leadership and influential role in shaping the architectural landscape have been acknowledged and celebrated by governmental authorities, reinforcing her position as a respected figure in the field.
